biography

Christian Marc Schmidt is a multi-disciplinary designer and media artist. His experience spans a range of design disciplines, including information, identity and interaction design, as well as media installation. His interest in working with information has lead him to a parametric and content-oriented approach to design. Christian studied business administration in Frankfurt, Germany, before moving to the US in 1999, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Parsons School of Design in New York, and a Master of Fine Arts from the Yale University School of Art. He has received honors for his work from the D&AD in London, the Society for Environmental Graphic Design, Communication Arts, and the IDSA. At present, Christian is a senior designer at Pentagram in New York. [contact] Ivan Safrin is a Russian-born software developer and independent video game designer living in New York City. Combining his in-depth technical knowledge with a passion for game and information design, he strives to create novel and playful applications. He currently works as a senior developer at R/GA New York where he develops interactive experiences for Nike. [contact]
