In Watching the Street I gathered around ten thousand images of a Canberra streetfront, one image per minute for over a week. This work is a navigable interface for one day from that dataset - November 14, 2008. The process takes a deliberately open view of the urban environment, treating it as an unknown domain rich in patterns and structures. This visualization is an initial experiment in how to explore those patterns. |
