Create Digital Motion was invited to present at and cover Byte Me!, an international festival of digital content in what is supposedly the most isolated city on Earth -- Perth, in Western Australia. A highlight for us was talking to a random selection of assembled VJs from a variety of backgrounds at Plug 'n Play, a popular regular event in Perth that serves as an open jam for visualists. Solu, a Finnish-born artist now residing in Barcelona, talked with us about the state of VJing, and in particular the role of women in the field, as the Plug 'n Play video equipment blasted on in the background.
