TIND's work is based on the use of audio visual errors, both analog & digital, so for this project we decided to use a special tool.

These videos are composed of live footage created with a homemade video glitcher that distort video & audio signal analogically. The video glitcher is a project commissionned by TIND and was made by Karl Klomp, a well known circuit bending artist from Europe. The original footage was edited in Final Cut and then played through the video glitcher and mixed with a V4 video mixer. This newly created footage was also recorded and then put again in finalcut for the creation of the 2 videos. The 16mm film texture was made by Montreal artist Eloi Ménard, who's a close contributor of TIND.

The soundtracks was almost made the same way except that a lot of sound work was done in Soundtrack Pro. The sound from trame 002 is made with samples from a track by Montreal artist Sebastien Gravel (from the band Perfection Plastic).

There's no real concept behind trame001 & trame002 - this is pure audio visual experimentation without any concepts or limits, a little bit like when we do a DJ/VJ jam session.
